The union of Arthur and Margaretta produced 12 children, 9 boys and 3 girls, who were all born between 1871 and 1893, either in Murdock, Nebraska or within 20 miles or so of Murdock. From this base the Rikli Family branched out to Oklahoma by the early 1900’s and later US wide, but many family members still reside in or near Murdock. Therefore, Murdock still has a special significance for us and the Rikli Family for Murdock. A Murdock Centennial Calander was published in 1990 with photos that will bring memories back to many of us.
